[Updated November 11, 2020]
This is a list of all Classic content that will be released in WoW Classic, Phase-by-Phase, in chronological order. This page is continually updated as Blizzard announces new information about World of Warcraft Classic!
Phase 1 Released
PvE: Molten Core
The Molten Core is a level 60 raid dungeon located within Blackrock Mountain, home to Ragnaros the Firelord. It was one of two forty (40) player raid dungeons available upon release of World of Warcraft. Originally Launched in Patch 1.1 November 2004.

PvE: Onyxia
Onyxia’s Lair was originally a level 60 raid dungeon located in Dustwallow Marsh, home to Onyxia. The original incarnation of the instance was one of two raid dungeons available upon release of World of Warcraft. Originally Launched in Patch 1.1 November 2004.

PvE: Maraudon
Maraudon is a 5-player dungeon located in the Valley of Spears, east of Shadowprey Village, in Desolace. It is a combination of ancient centaur burial grounds, as well as a primal temple dedicated to the elemental earth. Added in patch 1.2.0, Maraudon was the first dungeon to be added after the release of World of Warcraft. Originally Launched in Patch 1.2 December 2004.

PvP: (WoW: Classic Launch)

Phase 2 Released
PvE: Dire Maul [Early Release 15-Oct 2019]
Dire Maul is a three-wing instance found in northcentral Feralas. It was once a proud Highborne city called Eldre’Thalas, but now lies in ruins, overrun by ogres, satyrs, and undead. Originally Launched in Patch 1.3 March 2005.

PvE: Azuregos
This NPC can be found in Azshara. Like all world bosses in Classic, Azuregos had a long respawn timer, and only one raid could tap and loot him. Originally added in Patch 1.3 March 2005.

PvE: Kazzak
Following the defeat of the Burning Legion at the end of the Third War, the remaining enemy forces, led by the colossal demon Lord Kazzak, pulled back to the Blasted Lands. They continue to dwell there to this day in an area called the Tainted Scar, awaiting the reopening of the Dark Portal. Originally added in Patch 1.3 March 2005.

PvP: Rank Rewards & Honor System
The items you earn from the PvP Rank Rewards will be the versions from patch 1.12. Keep in mind though, just as it did originally, it will require a substantial time investment to rank up through the Honor System. For those interested in the Rank Rewards, earning epic gear will require consistent dedication over a long period of time as a top contributor on your realm. We don’t expect to see many people running around with these items early on, but we’re certain Hillsbrad Foothills will still see its fair share of action!

Phase 3 Released
PvP: Warsong Gulch & Alterac Valley
[EARLY RELEASE on December 10, 2019]
Alterac Valley (version 1.12) and Warsong Gulch, alongside with their associated vendors. One thing to note is that there were a couple of updates to these vendors over the course of the original patch releases, so some items won’t be available right away. For example, the Spell Penetration trinkets available from the Warsong Gulch vendor weren’t introduced until Patch 1.9, this will most likely be added in Phase 5.

PvE: Darkmoon Faire & Darkmoon Faire Decks
The Darkmoon Faire showcases the weird and the extraordinary. Gathering the exotic from around the world, Silas Darkmoon presents the Darkmoon Faire as a celebration of the wonders and mysteries found in Azeroth. Darkmoon was first introduced in Patch 1.6 July 2005 in Vanilla.

PvE: Blackwing Lair
[RELEASED on February 12, 2020]
Blackwing Lair is a level 60, 40-man raid dungeon located inside the Blackrock Spire instance, home to Nefarian. It was implemented in Patch 1.6 July 2005.

Phase 4 Released
PvP: Arathi Basin
[EARLY RELEASE on March 10, 2020]
Arathi Basin, located in Arathi Highlands, is a fast and exciting Battleground. The Basin itself is rich with resources and coveted by both the Horde and the Alliance. The Forsaken Defilers and the League of Arathor have arrived at Arathi Basin to wage war over these natural resources and claim them on behalf of their respective sides. It is sort of a ‘king of the hill’ match, though with multiple ‘hills’. Arathi Basin was originally added in Patch 1.7, released in September 2005.

PvE: Zul’Gurub
[RELEASED in April, 2020]
Zul’Gurub is a 20-man raid instance located in northeastern Stranglethorn Vale. Like Zul’Farrak, it counts as an outdoors zone, and riding on mounts is possible. Zul’Gurub is the capital of the jungle troll tribes, led by the Gurubashi, worshippers of the terrible god, Hakkar the Soulflayer, who personally inhabits a temple in the deepest parts of the city. Arathi Basin was originally added in Patch 1.7, released in September 2005.

PvE: Green Dragons
The Dragons of Nightmare were four green dragons corrupted by the Emerald Nightmare. Formerly Ysera’s lieutenants, the four caused havoc across Azeroth for years until being stopped. Three were slain and one was redeemed.

Phase 5 ACTIVE
PvE: Ahn’Qiraj War Effort & AQ Raids
When Patch 1.9 was released on January 2006, the two raid instances that composed Ahn’Qiraj, Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj (20-man raid) and Temple of Ahn’Qiraj (40-man raid), were not immediately available to the general population. Instead, players had to undertake a massive war effort to help open the instance which included two segments: the gathering of hundreds of thousands of supplies, and completing an epic questline that took the server’s most geared characters through an adventure to help the Dragonflights. The event reached its climax with a server-wide 10-hour event, which spanned lots of zones in Kalimdor.

PvE: “Tier 0.5”
Dungeon Set 2 is a type of item set. Each set consist of 8 pieces. Dungeon Set 1 is upgraded to form Dungeon Set 2. Amidst a storm of complaints, Blizzard said they wanted to offer additional content for nonraiders. In Patch 1.10 March 2006, Blizzard delivered a new endgame quest line using existing dungeons. Comprised of 29 steps in all, this was one of the game’s most elaborate — and most punishing — quest lines ever.

PvE: Loot Revamp
For example, the Spell Penetration trinkets available from the Warsong Gulch vendor weren’t introduced until Patch 1.9 (January 2006), this one will most likely be added in Phase 5.
Phase 6 TBA
PvP: World PvP Update
World PvP objectives in Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands. In the last patch 1.12 of Vanilla World of Warcraft objectives for World PVP were added to these zones. In Silithus a new crystalline substance called “Silithyst” has been discovered, and both the Horde and Alliance have taken an interest in it, you as a player collect the dust. But must be careful not to get ambushed by the opposing faction members! For the World-PvP in Eastern Plaguelands, Members of the Horde and the Alliance battle for four strategic ruined towers spread throughout the land. Controlling these outposts gives area-wide benefits and certain towers provide other, unique advantages.

PvE: Scourge Invasion
The Scourge Invasion was a world event in Patch 1.11 (June 2006) that heralded the opening of Naxxramas, the citadel of the dreaded Kel’Thuzad.

PvE: Naxxramas
Naxxramas was originally a 40-man raid instance floating above the Eastern Plaguelands. It was a massive necropolis and had the unquestionable honor of serving as the seat of one of the Lich King’s most powerful officers, the dreaded lich Kel’Thuzad. The dungeon was added in Patch 1.11 (June 2006), making it the last non-expansion instance added to the core game as well as the last 40 man instance.
